I just got my first real corset a couple weeks ago and I really thought I would like it better than I do. I'm really disappointed. It's GORGEOUS but makes me feel claustrophobic in a bad way, not a fun way. :/ maybe it will take some time to get used to (I hate expensive let downs).

I loooooooooove corsets! I have 2 and hope to get more. I'm not into the fake ones that just look pretty only the real corsets that cinch. I wish people were more open to them. There was a point when I would wear them all day and night.

Unless you're wearing them for waist training, or wearing the wrong size, they shouldn't be too difficult to breathe in (except in certain positions, seriously!). The thing with corsets is quality: You want them to be multi-layered, preferably steal boned and if possible, made to your size and shape. I ONLY buy corsets that are made to my size and shape and I currently have 12 different ones. Yes, an expensive hobby..

My mom just bought a bunch of corsets from a wholesaler to add to her home business stock...and damn, they're hot! They arrived today, and I went...maybe ten minutes before lacing mine up. I still have it on. It's not one of the hard-core waist-training corsets by any means. And I probably should have gone a little smaller. I went 4" smaller than my waist size, just to be on the safe side, and it's a little big around the bust and hips. I can also slouch a little in it.
But I love, love, love it! My waist hasn't looked this tiny in...at least a year. I felt like a sex goddess before I even had it completely cinched. Turns out, I not only like the look of corsets, but wearing one turns me on I'm getting more, no question about it!

Not only do i wear corsets, i am a tightlacer. I wear corsets to slightly change the shape of my ribs and sillouette. I have a youtube channel involving my corseting if any of you would like to see. I also enjoy fashion/lingirie corsets for fun as well.
