Lingerie for pear body shape?

I'm kind of new to buying lingerie for myself, and am having a bit of trouble pinning down styles that look good for my body shape. I tried this babydoll, but it didn't fit right. So, I went in search of body type examples so that I could get a sense of what looks good on someone with my proportions. Apparently, I've got what's usually called a "pear" shape: modest bust with larger waist and hips.

Anyone out there have any experience buying lingerie for this shape? What worked well for you? And what didn't? less
