It depends on whether or not you can currently afford it. If not, then no matter how nice the outfit is, the strain caused by the debt to obtain it would far outweigh any of the benefits. If he is upset by it (worrying about the additional load to the finances), then he is not likely to find it sexy at all.
But if you can afford it and finances are not a concern, then sure!

I don't see why not, unless like SS said, it would strain your finances.
I tend to get more excited about my new sexy outfits than My Man does. "Yeah, it's sexy, take it off." is the best compliment I usually get. Once, when I wore a long line cincher type bra, with a ton of hook and eye closures on the back he said, "You look really sexy. I know it took you a long time to put that thing on. Can you please take it off now?"
At least stockings and garter belts can stay on while you have sex. No problem there.

I would personally go for it. It is somewhat of a shame when some guys just prefer nudity - especially when you go to the trouble of dressing sexy. As long as it still makes yourself feel sexy.

It's a great way to spice things up for sure. Me and my boyfriend love it but it does get expensive so we have to watch what we buy. If you are both up for trying something new then definately go for it.
