I'm looking for my first piece of lingerie and I thought a cute babydoll would be nice to surprise my bf with. I'm petite with a 34C bust, relatively pale skinned with brown hair. I want it to be somewhat comfortable and I want to be able to wear it casually.

My first piece I got was a babydoll also. Just be sure to really look into it and make sure it has the functions you'd like for wear-ability.
I know when I got mine I thought it was simply cute and bought it on the spot, sadly to say I found out it had little to no breast support and I'm a 36C bust so it was a little uncomfortable.

The Mesh and Lace piece looks the most comfortable to me.

The pinstripe or mesh and lace look more comfortable for everyday wear. Though I suppose that depends on how scratchy the lace is...

The black/purple mesh babydoll is really comfortable and I think it would definitely fit you nicely. I have it and I love it! I'd pick that one.
