We both really like Maximus, a water-based lube. It may not be the cheapest but at less than $20 for 8.25oz it's a good deal.
It's more gel-like than liquid - a little goes a long way for vaginal and anal sex - and the pump bottle makes it easy to use without making a mess (no dripping down the side of the bottle or spills).
