My friend said she gets her PH thrown off all the time. She always has some kind of bladder or yeast infection. She is also allergic to her fiance's semen. That would really SUCK!!

Reactions I've heard of. Infections, not so much. Keep in mind, cleanliness of both partners must be taken into consideration! That's the usual suspect for infections.

I've gotten multiple yeast infections from lubes with glycerin. I also burn from parabens, though these don't cause infections as much as they do discomfort.

Not yet. I'm very picky about my lubes. And really don't use them all the time.

If you mean an overgrowth then yes it's possible to have your pH thrown off and allow an overgrowth of bacteria or yeast but that really isn't an infection...yeast infection is a misnomer.

Yep. I got a yeast infection from the KY Yours + Mine lube. This was before I thought to check ingredients of lubes. It has honey in it. O.O

Not yet, but I do have a very sensitive chemical balance. I pay attention to the presence of sugar in lubes and other potentially unfortunate ingredients.

Neither of us has experienced reactions or infections to the lubes we've tried.

I can't imagine being allergic to my husband's semen...!
