I prefer lube. I'd be okay without it, but using it makes a lot of difference for me and my partner. As far as flavors go, I like it to be as close to the real thing as possible.

I have some cupcake flavored lube that I love, since it smells amazing and tastes good, too. But I don't use it much... Usually, we use regular, flavorless lube.

Lube is always better than saliva! Saliva dries out and doesn't provide good lubrication.
I've having some difficulty finding a flavored lubricant that I love. I am currently in love with tokyo aroma!

Saliva is the best!!! I never used flavored lube, but I like natural. Plus it is huge turn on to get spit on!

Cupcake flavored?! That sounds awesome! What brand makes that?

For me it really depends. Sometimes a little saliva is good enough to get things going, then my body does the rest once I've warmed up a little. Other times it isn't enough so then we add some lube. Which kind we use then depends on how my hubby is feeling. We've found that sometimes silicone lube can sort of "numb" him, which is good if I'm having a hard time getting into it or if we just feel like taking our time with it, but sometimes it can be annoying.

As for flavored, I have yet to find a flavored lube I enjoy. Everything we've tried so far has tasted the same, that fake sugar flavor. I can't stand it. If we're using lube while I'm doing oral, I prefer silicone because it doesn't have a taste, it just feels greasy, which I kind of like to be honest.
