Sliquid H2O vs. Maximus: why would you choose one over the other? One has parabens, the other doesn't. But some are saying Maximus lasts longer. I can't decide.

i only use organic, water based, lubricants that are free of glycerin, paraben and petrochemicals. Maximus is glycerin free but has 4 different types of paraben and I believe it also contains petrochemicals and it definitely is not organic. Sliquid H20 is better for the body, safer and less likely to cause allergic reactions.

I have been using sliquid h20 and sassy for month's I have maximus coming this week to try.

In terms of performance, maximus may do better. I dont know because I am allergic to some of it's ingredients. I like h2o ride better than h2o though. It is nice to have options!

I would go for Sliquid H2O because i've heard good things about it.

Sliquid H2O for me since its organic an doesn't contain Glycerin or Parabens since both cause me issues

I'm comfortable with the parabens - I am more scared of stuff growing in my lube. I try to limit my use of water-based lube, though, and use silicone whenever possible.

This is exactly why I prefer Sliquid.

I haven't yet tried any Sliquid products, and I do plan on it, however, my preference would be towards Maximus simply because of the texture. I like thick lubes.

Sliquid has great reviews. I'm going to try it soon

I just ordered my first bottle of Maximus, and intend to try the Sliquid H20 with my next order.
Will report back!

I have and use both. The H20 is much thinner of a consistency and it tends to run off of the toys and get a little messy. The maximus is thicker and it stays put when you put it on the toys. I like both but I prefer maximus.

I have both and I want to say neither. I've had weird reactions to Sliquid lubes (internal "burning" that feels like someone poured hydrogen peroxide in my vagina, and weird/funky smell). However, if I use a little too much of Maximus and/or am a little too 'rough' with whatever dildo I'm using it with, then I get a little bit of internal burning from the parabens. Something else I noticed with Maximus...after play and before my bits absorb completely or flush the lube out, my vagina has an off smell. Well, more like no smell or a slightly sterile smell. Now you would think that that would be better than a funky smell, but no smell or not even my own natural smell makes me a bit cautious.
Anyway, I've been trying some new lubes out, just got the Ultra Sensitive Lube gel, but haven't used it yet. Have been using the ID Hero H20 (which is just the ID Moments -in the pink bottle, which I also have- just in a fancy "manly" bottle).

Maximus is my favorite water-based lube. I like the texture, thicker consistency and ease of use (pump dispenser). It also seems to last longer than other water-based lubes - we seldom have to reapply even during anal.
