For me, water based lubes are best because they are great with silicone toys. Silicone lubes + Silicone toys = destroys the toy.

Personally I find that they work better. But I think it's all a matter of preference when you get down to it.

It has many advantages, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily the best. Water based lubes are compatible with all toys, are easier to wash off and clean up, and won't generally stain the sheets.

Silicone lubes last longer, because they can't be absorbed by the body.

Yes they do, which is why I need to get a water based lube pronto for my silicone toys that are coming in.
