I'm pretty sure they are the same thing. I think they're just different terms for it, since faux means fake and vegans would need fake leather. That's just my take on it.

I think something named "vegan leather" would be more trustworthy, because if a company is using that term it says something about their practices in general.

For the most part, they're the same. On some sites, vegan represents the higher quality, but the words mean the same thing
