My favorite toy is made out of glass. For me the firm nature of glass and the textures or bulbs allow it to hit/apply steady pressure to my g-spot or other areas. I do really enjoy the one silicone toy that I have, because it also stimulates the g-spot nicely. So I would say it is a combination of the material and the type of stimulation.
