You can never have too many toys!

I don't think there can ever be too many unless of course you're spending all of your income on toys and become homeless from it or something.

I agree a person can never have too many. My theory is that there are 365 days in a year so 365 would be a good place to start.

if they fall out of the closet when you open the door, you have too many.

You can never have too many...

All depends on your cash situation.

If you can't fit anymore in your house, you got to many. If not, then it's fine. Go for it, get 500!
03/28/2013
Only when you have so many you can't hide them anymore

Is there should a thing?

Hahaha, agreed. If there is no room for toys because you have become a toy hoarder, and poor toys are dying and materials are morphing together...and you buy doubles because you have lost others ones in your mountains of toys i might consider it too many

However many you can fit in your storage area is exactly the right number.

It's mainly a matter of space and what is practical for an individual.

You can't have too many!

We've owned over 100 - but when they are not used anymore, they are either moved to the closet or discarded. We keep about 20 in the active rotation at any one point in time.

I just want the toys I need to meet my current needs. No point in having redundant toys.

Variety and rotation--the key staples of owning toys!!!

Too many is when they start to damage other areas of your life (so storage, financially, etc.) if they do not do that, then there is no such thing as too many.
03/29/2013
When you start having reasonable storage concerns, it's at least time to reassess the situation. If they are just laying in piles all over, then you might have too many

I second this! You can never have too many toys, so long as they're not causing you any problems.

When you have too many to easily hide and keep organized.
03/31/2013
I say there are never to many but I suppose when I run out of room....

Just like one's number of sexual partners, i dont think there is such thing as "too many,"although i can see how storage may start to become harder over time with a larger collection.

When it's overtaking your bedroom, you don't have the space for more, and you've already spent all your money on them, it's probably time to stop!
04/04/2013
Can't ever have too many unless you can't store them or you are going into a financial burden
04/04/2013
I think it's only too much if you buy toys that are too similar and do basically the same thing!
