I got it for the same reason or lack thereof and I'm glad I did. It's not practical for *anything* and it's huge beyond huge, but it's fun to stroke, fun to play around with, and fun to use in practical jokes (I once hung it off the soap dish when a GLBT-friendly friend was over; lots of laughs.)
