I just tried looking into it, and it seems to be working fine. Does it complain about the price when you try to request it? If so it's not that you're not eligible to get free products, but that you need to request a product within the price range allotted for your contributor rating. While you are technically allowed to select products up to $75 as long as your rank is 6.5/10 or higher, I would select lower priced ones currently as you are a new reviewer. Also you may need to request multiple products or do more reviews before they will actually approve a product for you.

What they said, also is it time for you to request a product? If you have an eden sponsored product within the last month you have to wait the months time before you can request another.
