If I know I'm not going to use it for a while, then yes. Otherwise I just leave them in there

Not unless we know it's a toy that habitually "eats" batteries in storage.

yes. I left batteries in my first toy and they ruined it. it wasn't that good of a toy anyways. but from then on I store my toys without the batteries in them
