do you like toys just for their novelty? Some toys are just fun to look at right

Honestly, no. Whether it is my own money or EF points, I just can't bring myself to get something that I know won't do it for me. There are plenty of things I find cute/pretty/cool looking but I won't get it if it won't work out. It's wasting real money to purchase something like this that I won't use and I think it's kind of selfish to get it for free with EF points if it won't work, but that's just me.

I want a functioning toy that I can enjoy. I don't like wasting money on something I can't/won't ever use. ):

I like toys that are functional, and I do prefer function over appearance.
That said, I am going to be buying at least one or two of the new Wonderland collection purely because the toys are so beautiful.

I bought the Kinky Kat even though I'm sure it won't be too good for me.

I try to go for practicality, what I will use and enjoy. Novelty can be fun to add to that though.

I go for functionality
06/05/2012
I like both!

Most novelties are just to weird a shape for me.
06/05/2012
I prefer the best of both worlds, but I admit cute toys do tempt me!

Form that follows function - it has to look good and work well.

Sometimes sure

it can't just be novelty for me, it has to be functional
06/07/2012
It has to be functional also.

If it doesn't work we wont keep it long

a little bit of both.. I want something that is both appealing and works great.

Visual appeal is important to me but functionality is important too.

Function first, looks second in our toy chest.

Both looks and function matter to me... But I prefer having pretty toys over less attractive ones.

both

if it looks great, i'm much more likely to buy

Being ascetically pleasing and orgasmic is what makes an amazing toy. For example, many of the Evolved toys are at an average price point, but their packaging is sooo much fun and they produce a decent level of quality! I love the combination.
However, I am in desperate desire of a Leaf toy, because they are so freaking cool looking!
And I did buy the Ina because I loved the way it looked...but I have yet to be disappointed by springing for luxury.

I only buy items that will be useful to me, never novelty only.

Novelty is fun, but I'd only buy it if it functioned well too.
06/20/2012
I go for both.

I dont really like novelty items, tend to be cheap
