Yes absolutely. Noise is a big factor in me buying toys

It bothers me. Specially when it is a tv. sometimes I hear something that makes me laugh and it ruins my mood.

Depends on how loud a toy is. Most of the time, the fact that I'm using a vibe is a turn-on in and of itself, so the noise doesn't really ruin that. I don't really "fantasize" very much when using a vibrating toy anyway - I save that for the non-vibes.

As for noise around me, people talking or music I didn't put for myself on can be distracting, or anything that's very, very loud. But the shower or sounds outside my window don't bother me much at all. No word on the television running, since it's rarely on anyway.

The noise can be exciting because when I turn it up the sound of a little machine getting louder is the sound of me getting more satisfied.

It depends on the noise and who is in the house!

Only if it's pretty loud, or really quiet around me.
I wonder if anyone can hear it. Distracts me. :p

I don't use really noisy vibrators anymore, and I stick to mini vibes and glass. So it isn't often that I get distracted. However, if my roommate has a guest over or if it is "too quiet," then yes, I get really distracted.

I totally agree...it depends on what's happening and where I am, who's there!

When I'm on the phone with my woman and I can hear the noise in the background, it's actually quite the turn-on.

Neither I or my boyfriend live alone so noise is very distracting and makes me feel a little paranoid...

Only if the kids are in the house, then the Hitachi cannot come out. If we are alone, noise doesn't bother us unless it sounds different like a toy has broken.

I try really hard to not let it distract me, but it does. Some of the best toys are extremely loud, so I wish I could ignore it better.

If I know someone is going to -hear- the sound of the toy that I don't want to hear it (IE: children, parents, company staying over, whatever), then yes. If no one's around, I could really care less as long as it doesn't sound like a jackhammer.

It actually usually doesn't bother me... although exterior noise (like something loud outside the window) does.

I used to think noise was no problem until I got the loudest vibrator EVER to review, and found it was just too loud to really enjoy.

It can, but only if I'm worried about being overheard. Otherwise, I'm fine.

I'm with you. Reminds me of a joke I heard once... What's the most sensitive part of your body when you're masturbating? Your ears.
