Hard plastic toys - do you love them or hate them?

Contributor: sweetpea12 sweetpea12
I love hard plastic toys because I can get a ton of leverage on my clit. But I don't know if other people feel the same way. Soft toys do nothing for me on my clit, and only kind of get my spot, do you have any recommendations for good softer toys that are "foolproof".

Personally I could go either way with hard plastic, I have only found one instance in where I don't like it and that was with a Gspot toy where the 'rounded' end was more like pointy hard plastic.

I don't prefer it, but I won't shy away from it either.

My first toy was completely plastic, I found it pretty confortable. I like the squishiness of silicone the best.

I like plastic a lot. It's a mediocre material for insertion, but it's great when you want pinpoint clit stimulation.

I find I don't prefer hard plastic. I won't say no to it and I'll probably end up with more of them, but I find softer things work better for me.

Plastic is fine for external toys, but I like anything internal to be a bit softer. It cannot have a seam though!

I love plastic, firmer toys work much better for me and plastic is a very affordable option when it comes to firm materials.

Well, since my Salsa is hard plastic, and I love my Salsa, I guess I love hard plastic

Generally hate it. I don't know why, but hard plastic toys always seem to make me numb.

Indifferent, I don't use such toys, only my Baby does.

I am pretty indifferent, I don't love em, but I don't hate em either. Guess I'm just in limbo about them.

It's okay, I prefer silicone for insertable toys though.

I really like plastic toys, as long as they have the coating on them making them velvety

Normally I don't like it, but I love my new Turbo Glider Blueberry Bliss >_>

It really depends on what I'm using it for. Insertion, eh. Clitoral stimulation, yes!

For clit stim, I like the hardness, otherwise the vibrations dissipate in the soft material and I need something strong to get off. For penetration, I don't like hard toys, they're super uncomfortable for me :/

I'd say I love hard plastic. The few times I've bought a softer toy.. it does whatever it can to stay away from my clit as it's too flimsy!

Not a fan of it internally but for a clit vibe it's ok. My Lelo Mia is hard plastic. I prefer my vibrators that are a silicone skin over a firm body, like my Lelo Liv and my MiMi. Not quite sure what you mean by softer toys that are "foolproof".

HATE it! My first vibe was hard plastic. I never buy hard plastic for internal vibes anymore. They always cause me pain. I don't know if it has something to do with my having endometriosis or something else because glass does not hurt me, but plastic does! How strange? Also, I worried that Freestyle would cause me pain since it's mostly hard plastic, but has a very thin PU coat. Thankfully, it hasn't ever bothered me.
