I have both, and I prefer the Tango.

I only have the Salsa - it is great! I think the motors are the same in both, so I would choose based on which type of head you think would feel best to you.

Since they are discontinuing the Salsa, I wish they would make the tango in it's colors. I picked the salsa based on it's colors and I love it.

Get the Tango, it still has the pinpoint like the Salsa on the one side, but also has the flat edge for full contact on the other. Might as well have the option!

I have the Salsa and I do like how strong it is. I really like the colors the Tango comes in so I might end up getting one of those as well. With the tango there's the flat side of the head but I'm wondering if the curved side feels more pin-point like the Salsa. Anybody compared the two in that way?

I tried the tango and didn't like it. Wasn't strong enough, patterns do nothing for me and it was really vibrat-y to make your hand all numb with no handle

well I admit to grabbing the salsa recently because of the rumors that it's going away (I do not have the Tango)...and I am still at that stage between deciding if I like it or love it!
