Hmm, overall, I prefer under. I like to snuggle under the sheets. Also, my vibrator is rather buzzy and a bit noisy, so, the covers hide some of the noise from my family. There is always one other family member at home besides me, so, inconspicuous noise is vital. I do, however, prefer over the sheets on a towel if I am using silicone lube, or whenever I plan to get really messy. Easier clean up for sure!
