The We-Vibe 2 is a pretty hot seller at my store, for $99.99. Yesterday we received a postcard from a vendor advertising the We-Vibe 3, which has some extra features, but a higher price tag to go with it. The suggested retail is 139.99. So you tell me, because I'm trying to help my district manager decide if we should order it. Would the remote control, charging dock/storage case, and alleged 40% boost in power be worth an extra $40 if you saw them side by side at an adult novelty store?
Do you think the upcoming We-Vibe 3's extra features are worth the extra price?

I hated the II because the power was lacking. If the III has enough of a power boost, I might buy it.

I wouldn't buy the We-vibe II because of the lack of vroom. I think $40 for a toy that would work for me would be worth it over one that didn't. It depends on your clientele, though-- if you don't have a lot of people educated on sex toys, they'll probably just grab the cheaper choice.
10/27/2011
I'd definitely be willing to pay more for 40% more power.
10/27/2011
From what I can read and see on the images, I'd buy it. I love the remote and the extra power most I suppose.
10/28/2011
The more I think about it, the more I feel like it would be worth it. I feel like if someone were already willing to spend $100 on a toy (which I know may not sound like a lot to those that prefer higher end products, but a lot of our customers are looking for low prices), it makes sense that they would be willing to spend $40 more for that many extra features, assuming the 40% power boost holds up to claims.
10/28/2011
I'm not really interested in the We-vibe so I probably wouldn't buy either but if I were to buy one it would definitely be the more expansive model if the increase in power is true it would definitely be worth it it "MOAR POWER!"

I voted that I'm not interested in We-Vibes, though I just bought the Tango. It's the shape of the "traditional" We-Vibe that doesn't interest me at all, not the brand itself. I just can't imagine that it would A) reach my clitoris B) apply enough pressure to really stimulation my g-spot. I'd buy one to try if they suddenly and inexplicably dropped to about $20!
10/28/2011
Don't think it is worth it

If it is really 40% more powerful, I think that alone would be worth a good portion of the price increase. If the remote really worked when the toy is inserted and while engaged in penetration with a partner, that would also be very helpful and thus worth the additional cost (otherwise, you would have to completely remove the toy to make any adjustments in setting, reinsert it, and reinsert your partner, which is a pain in the butt!). As far as the charging dock and storage case, I'd have to see them to determine if they were worth being enthusiastic over!
In a nutshell, if I were your district manager, I'd have to have the toy in hand to compare its vibrations with the We-Vibe II. If I found the difference unimpressive, I would be inclined not to carry it. And I'd have to test the remote by placing the toy on the other side of my body to see if the signal can still transmit through flesh. (I'm a bit skeptical about the remote . . .)

The we-vibe has never really fit me well; so i'm not too interested in the newer ones =\

It looks really nice, but I just don't know about the price. I might take the plunge!
10/31/2011
Just too pricy :/

I'm not a we-vibe fan to start out with. But, some people are. I share SS's concerns about the remote. One of the issues with the we-vibe is changing functions and power by having to remove it and then start over. Sex toys with remotes are almost universally disappointing. IF the remote works, and works through flesh and IF it really has 40% more power, and IF it fits a wider variety of body shapes (not hitting all the spots was a common complaint with the we-vibes) it would be worth it.
Ask if the company can send you one to try, then you can help your buyer decide. They should be willing to do that.

I'm not sure if they're worth it or not, but might have to get it sometime to try it out

More power and a remote is definitely worth it.
11/10/2011
Don't think either is worth it, tbh.

Don't think I'm going to get it.

The 3 is way more powerful then the 2.
11/11/2011
If it true that it boasts 40 percent more power then I'd see it as worth it just as I don't know many women who get off on weak vibrations and it can be the difference between a disappointing toy and a good one.

For 40% more power, I'd definitely would get the III. I have the original We-Vibe and the only thing that would make me change it is more power.

I said yes, but if and only if, you don't have another We-Vibe, then you'd probably appreciate the new features.

I'm going for #3.

The WeVibe lll has absolutely no power for what it is intended to do. I used it for the first time with my partner and it was awful. I could barely feel the vibrations and no stimulation to my G-Spot at all. I was very disappointed after spending $170.00 at Badd Kitty for this item that was boosted as being so special. It really truly sucks. I even tried it solo in sevaral different vibe selections and nothing at all. You could blow on my clit harder than that thing vibrates.

If you call that thing as having power you must be very sensitive to the touch. I could barely feel it at all. I hate it
