Upgrade from Old Patchy to New?

Contributor: CaitieLynn CaitieLynn 10/30/2011

I can't decide whether or not it would be worth it to upgrade to the latest version of Patchy Paul from Fun Factory...Any thoughts on the latest G4 line?

We have the new G4 vibes (all except one) and they are brilliant! The vibrations are far superior to those in the older versions. Plus you get rechargeable, and the loop you then wonder how you could live without

The power of the vibrator is noticeably stronger in the new generation. Besides, they're waterproof and rechargeable. For 40$ more... I think it's worth it.

Hmm. I think it depends on how much you liked the original Patchy Paul. If you liked the shape of it, etc, then maybe yes.

I agree with Kkay. It all depends on if you like the original.

The G4 line sounds awesome, much more powerful, plus they have the nice looped handle! And it's rechargeable, what more could you ask for? I don't know if I'd want two very similar toys though, maybe try something else from the G4 line?

I voted the "woohoo" option because... Well... I'm on the fence. If the current one you have suits you nicely and does a good job, great. Unless for some reason you're ready to throw it out, I don't see a point in doing so. YES there are better aspects about the new one, but you could always try a different product first. I personally think when it's time your friend Paul is laid to rest, that's when you should upgrade. Until then, experiment with other toys.

The G4 sounds good but I would pick the old one because of the sound comparison. I only get toys that are 2 bees at the moment.
