I want to present Her a toy that she'd really enjoy, but there are so many to choose from and each with pro's and con's!!! So I'm asking women first of all: what would you recomend? I give my list of pro's and con's so that you can point me if i have some wrong considerations.
Which toy to give my wife as a present? (would be her first one ever.)

i can only speak for the mimi, its wonderful!
pros- strong and quiet vibrations with levels of intensity, pulse patterns are nice, smooth and soft, small, fits well in the hand, rechargable, silicone, water proof
and comes in a really really nice box, very luxurious looking!
only con for me is the charger clips on magnetically so make sure its level when charging, it moves a bit, wish it snapped stronger together?

I'd go with the Salsa if you're looking for a high quality toy. However, for a first toy, I generally recommend that people don't spend more than $50. My first toy was a rabbit and I learned I really don't like rabbit style vibrators. I'm glad I didn't spend a lot. Everyone likes different styles and different shapes so it's a good idea to buy an inexpensive (but not cheap and crappy) to start with. I know Kira's blog has a nice list of beginner toys.

Salsa!

I love the deep rumble of the Gigi....and it could be used clitorally as well, if that's what she decides she likes. An amazing G-spot orgasm is my favorite kind to have....and the Gigi does it every time.
It really does depend on what she likes and what works for her. The box the Gigi comes in is great for gifting...it looks classy and such!

Salsa and MiMi are the two clit toys I'd recommend on your list, but as mentioned it's probably best to experiment with some cheaper things first. Figure out how strong of vibrations she needs, what type (rumbly or buzzy), and if she needs to apply pressure or not. Then you can make a better decision on what will work for her. Doesn't make much sense to drop a ton of money on something just to find out it won't work for her.

Get something that has no pre-set speeds or patterns. I find it extremely important to set the speed of vibration to exactly what I want it to be, and not just choose something thats the closest to it

Is there a reason you wouldn't give her a gift card and let her pick out her own toy?
11/19/2012
Give her a gift card!!

Eroscillator is my wife's favorite toy by far and we have tried dozens including a $1,000+ one called the Sybian.
11/19/2012
I REALLY didn't like the Mimi, so I'd go with the Salsa. I found the buttons on the Mimi to be SUPER hard to push, and when I had other toys I liked just as much that WEREN'T frustrating... I sold it on the classifieds, it was for sure not my favorite.

I literally can't say enough good about the Insignia Soraya!!! It is by far the best luxury vibe I've ever owned. Every use just reinforces my love for it!

The MiMi is definitely the way to go!

no wonder you may be confused - too many choices.

Listen to Kira. Though, if you get any of them. Salsa is awesome. It has a speed for almost everyone.

Those are some awesome choices. I have Sqwell and like it a lot, but honestly, for a gift, I'd go with one of the other really nice ones on your list. I personally have really wanted Form but for the price I won't spend that due to that glitch. There's MiMi and SaSi, which both to me seem like you could not go wrong. SaSi has been on my list big time! It'd help to know her preferences.

I really like Vitality and Matryoshka. Also, I have the Noa vibe coming, which might be a good gift for her since it can be used in couple play too! Ef just started carrying that Indulge me pleasure set (or either it's about to be available) and it has the Noa vibe and nice satin mask and awesome feather tickler with a gift card too! I have it coming right now. It is VERY expensive, but it would make one hell of an awesome gift for someone who has wanted Noa as much as me. It IS expensive, but since it comes with the feather tickler and a couple other things, if you're someone who already wanted those items, it's probably worth it. I don't think I've ever been this excited over my other luxury toys, but I'm just beside myself about getting it!
Like I said, it depends on your wife's prefs. But since SaSi and MiMi get such rave reviews, it seems to me you can't go wrong there.
Best of luck though and I hope she LOVES it! I wish I had more info to give but I don't own most of those on your list so I can't really say the pro's and con's.

Salsa, but I'm a power queen.
11/19/2012
Mimi is top then salsa.

We love the Mimi - but it's not very versatile.
I like the Mona 2 idea because it can be used for penetration and clitoral stimulation.

Here's my opinion. Dual-stim and g-spot toys should be saved for later. I think dual stimulation can sometimes be overwhelming, and not very versatile. And obviously I don't know your wife, but I personally have a tough time having g-spot orgasms, and it would suck if she couldn't come easily with the toy you get her.
Looking at your list, I would choose either Mona 2 or Salsa. Unfortunately I have not tried either so I can't back them up in that way.
If I could go back in time and give myself a different first vibe...it would be my Ako! I keep trying different vibes (including more luxury ones) but always come back to that one.
Have lots of fun! You sound like an awesome husband.

The MiMi I guess

Looks like you're doing your research, which is awesome! I'm going to echo what a few have said though, and go for something cheaper than some of the luxury vibes, just because every woman is different and it's good to find what works for your anatomy before you spend a whole lot of money on something that you might not care for and is super disappointing. My first vibrator that I loved was the first time g-spot tulip, and I still love it, but I'm in the market for an upgrade (the seam down the middle of the toy wasn't noticeable at first, but I seem to have become more sensitive down there, and it causes some pinching with intense thrusts). As a gift though, you don't need to go that cheap. But you're not sure if she'll like rabbits or not, or if she'll want something more for clitoral stimulation or g-spot, and shape and types of vibrations are also another consideration.
If I were you (and this is totally based on my own research and what I'm saving my points up for to upgrade my vibrator collection) Harmonia or Moka for g-spot is a good safe bet based on review, fs that is something she like or wants to explore. Does she prefer clitoral stimulation? In that case, Ako, or something like Isis or Chandra (and you can play with her easily with those!) might be a good way to go. Even an iconic bullet would be a good first toy, though it does take watch batteries, which I find annoying.
In any case, I'm not the expert on vibrators here (still learning!) but I think it's really cool that you're getting something nice like this for your wife--toys are a fun addition to the bedroom, they spice things up, and are fun for both partners who are open to them, I've found. Whatever you choose, I hope she loves it!

I'd say get a good clitoral vibe like the Mimi first, then do penetrative toys like the Gigi, then unusual ones like the Sqweel if she likes the other toys.
