Have you noticed a big difference in preferences when you spend leisure time with your lover and they were raised in a different pop culture than you? This could apply to television shows, music, videogames, or anything else of interest. If you have noticed a big difference, is it a detrimental one, which keeps the two of you from seeing eye-to-eye, or is it a beneficial one in which you're always introducing each other to fun new-to-you things?

It was interesting to see what they were raised with. It got really old explaining what I grew up with. In the end, it felt like I was trying to prematurely age them with things I liked in the 80's when they were raised in the 90's/00's.
