I've balanced between feeling as if the new experiences and naivety of younger men could be more fun than the wisdom and balance an older man can bring to the table. In my past, I've been with a bit of both and older men almost always had their lives together and in tact, with a steady job and their affairs in order. This isn't to say younger men can't hold a steady job or keep their lives on track, but when you're just beginning to live, I hardly see it possible to know what exactly it is you're looking for and how you're going to find it.
With that said, there comes a man who holds a balance of both wisdom and the passion and drive of a younger man, and for most women, I've seen that that is the perfect mix. Although, most times, we don't get so lucky and wind up going for someone closest to our own age, which makes sense. I feel that this is the surest bet of finding someone just as young and unsure as we are, or just as wise and together we are, or a mix of unsure but headed in the right direction in life and a semi-decent sense of self.

How do you feel about the stigma of an older man being more wise and together, a younger man thinking with the wrong head, or someone your own age being more relateable? Honest answers please!

i definitely like a mix of both.. though i have never experienced such drastic age differences. my man is 3 years older than me, and he has a lot more life experience than i do - even in 3 years. and he inspires me to do a lot more, and it helps that he wants to do all these things with me

I fall somewhere in between a mix, and older. I've only dated people older than me and don't really have any interest in dating younger. I want someone that I can relate to really well, but who is also older and of course has all their crap together!

I have never been involved with a man older than myself. Even if it is just by a few months, they are always younger than I am. I am just not attracted to older men, and I never have been.
