Do you have hair on your chest, back, shoulders and/or butt and do you shave it those areas?

I am curious because when do we ever see male celebrities in movies (regular non-porn movies) that are hairy in the chest or back areas? I'm not sure about porn movies though because I don't watch porn. Are guys typically hairy in those or no?

Also, I am strictly talking about the areas mentioned above and I am not including hair in your genital region.

My husband is hairy on his chest and I like it. The only problem is he is also somewhat hairy on the lower back region which is kind of.. not sexy. But I don't have the heart to ask him to shave it! I am trying to just learn to appreciate it. I mean, hair is just harmless hair... right...?

It depends on the kind of porn movies I think. From what I've seen in newer mainstream porn there aren't a lot of hairy chests and no hairy backs. I don't know if that's just in the genres that we watch, or if it's true of all porn these days. But in the classic porn that we've seen there are a lot of natural bodies, hair and all.

Personally, I think hair makes a guy look rugged and to me that's a good thing. The lower back hair is just slightly off-putting to me for some reason...

Thanks for the info Michele! I figured it may be the same as mainstream movies.

My husband has the hairiest chest and stomach and I love it!!! I love running my fingers through it. I love rubbing up against him when we're making love. And now that he's older there's more there. And there's more on his back, etc. Which I don't really care about either way. But I would be so mad if he shaved any part of his front side.

Me too, I think hairy chests are sexy. I've noticed that my husband's chest hair has increased some as he has aged (he is still just 26 but he used to be nearly bare) but it's still not super hairy.. just enough to play with though!

Bare-chest men seem somehow adolescent. I did once date a man who shaved his chest.

My boyfriend is hairy all over. Seems I can find very few parts of him that aren't covered in it. BUT, I love him and I wouldn't change a thing; his hairy, large, masculine body is an attractive contrast to my smooth, feminine body: SEXY.

I voted "other" because I am not a male, nor do I currently have a male partner. However, I LOVE body hair on men. I prefer hairy to hairless, as there is something so masculine and sexy about men with hair.

Me personally, I am very hairy. I have long hair, a long beard, and I am pretty hairy everywhere else too, (I was the dude in 8th grade that had a full beard). My wife kind of likes it (or so she says). But the hair on my shoulders and back really annoy me. So every now and then my wife will shave me with the clippers like I am some kind of zoo animal. It feels so good afterward!

I'll be the brave odd woman out... I'm not a big fan of body hair on guys, especially backs, butts, and bellies. A bit of chest hair, I can deal with. Arm and leg hair, no problem. Facial hair, the jury's still out. I'm just not a fan of furry torsos. Unfortunately for me, as we grow older my boyfriend is beginning to grow more and more body hair, so I'm going to have to learn to love the fur.

Facial hair is a must for me on my man, not sure why - it's just sexy! My husband would gladly shave his back hair if I really want him too so perhaps we'll give it a shot.. not like it won't grow back. It seems like it might look silly though since he's got hair on his legs, chest, stomach and nearly everywhere else.

A little facial hair is ok with me. I'm with you on the lack of love for body hair. But my husband is quite hairy and I married him anyway. So many other redeeming qualities.

BTW, I read that Ron Jeremy shaved his back for all 1500 of his films.

I'm kind of in the middle when it comes to "ideals." I like a guy with some hair, especially on his chest and arms, but I've seen guys who were covered from head to toe in hair so thick it looked like they were wearing a carpet, and that just struck me as odd. By the same token, I always feel a little confused when I see a man without a single hair on his body.

Honestly, though, it's all about the other factors. Hair is really one of a thousand things to consider, and it's toward the bottom of my list.

I can go either way on the chest hair issue. I love my boyfriend's chest and belly hair, and I find his tummy absolutely wonderful to lick and touch. I also love to see well-defined pecs and abs that aren't hindered by fuzz. I do know I'm not too keen on back hair.

My boyfriend is fuzzy on his chest, belly, arms, and is basically a Sasquatch below the waist to his ankles. He's also got sexy facial hair. I absolutely adore laying my head on his chest when cuddling and running my fingers through his chest hair.

I have a moderately hairy chest but no hair on my back. As far as shaving it, I don't BIC it but occasionally trim it. My wife doesn't really prefer one or the other.

I am not a fan of chest hair. A little treasure trail is okay and normal amounts of arm/legs hair is fine. I prefer none on the butt but am not so lucky. The face needs to be clean shaven, period. Most hair disgusts me.

I'm a fairly hairy guy pretty much everywhere on my body and strangely enough I have very hairy upper arms? It is a common joke amongst my girlfriend and our friends that she needs to get me waxed or have me shave. She will say she is going to the minute we get home but either she always forgets, doesn't care, or actually likes it. It has never been an issue but if she ever had concerns, off it would go (except my beard). I like my hair, I like the jokes about it, I like that I can actually grow a beard, go hair! Of course though I feel the total opposite when it comes to the ladies...
