I think I'd like if he shaved, LOL, it gets kind of icky to me sometimes since I like clean smooth shaved skin best. (not to mention that's what I have, so it's more noticeable during intercourse.) Though my dear doesn't have too terribly much so I'm not going to flip.

I chose other. He just gets 2 hairs and they're about midway on his shaft. The irritate him so he usually plucks them because he doesn't like stuble. I just let him do his thing because I know he won't leave it if it will hurt or rub me.

Yep, I have hair that grows maybe an inch or so up on the shaft (when erect). I even have a couple randoms that grow a couple inches up.
It's not that much, but it is slightly annoying. As a teen, I was horrified by it. I even waxed it a few times myself.
If I was rich and slightly more willing to have a stranger touch my penis (haha, sounds like I'm talking about picking up a prostitute), I might buy laser hair removal treatments to get rid of it.
I usually trim it, but the stubble isn't pleasant since it pokes my testicles all day. I've tried Nair and a few other hair thinning products. Some worked out well. Just have to be careful to avoid chemical burns.

I've run into several guys that had this, they either plucked the hair out, trimmed it or shaved it off. It doesn't bother me too much as it's usually just 1/2-1 inch up the shaft and sparse.

Yes, I have them and they're regular sized not the really fine diameter ones. So that none of them will get caught between my partner's teeth I remove them.

I've heard it often happens with circumcised penises. It's one of many reasons why routine infant genital mutilation (aka circumcision) should not be performed.
