Supposedly this occurs because your brain is trying to communicate that you feel like you are being forced into something you are not comfortable with in your waking life.

I'm sorry this happens to you too, it really is terrifying. I usually cannot sleep until the sun comes up after a dream like this.

I am so sorry! That is terrible. I usually dream about sex all the time if not daily. For me, it is really great. I usually pick up my fantasies from my dreams. It is like watching a great erotic novel play out, and I usually have an amazing orgasm to accompany it too.

GWF and Bunny I used to have rape dreams like that when I was younger and I almost think it was a subconcious fear (terrified is not a strong enough word) of being raped or maybe of not being in control of my life??? Not a psychiatrist here rofl anyway as I got older they started going away and I haven't had one in a very long time now.

I have sex dreams a lot sometimes about the man I am dating and sometimes about friends and boyfriends from the past.

Thats the same for me, before I started masturbating I asked my best friend if she ever had sex dreams too and she looked at me like this twisted look on her face saying "NO!". Since she masturbated all the time she never had orgasms while sleeping and it was the exact opposite for me!

And Girl With Fire and Bunnycups, thats just awful! Rape is my biggest fear, so that would probably be my worst nightmare ever!

I used to have rape dreams and the man in the dream would alwasy be an actual person in my life that I didn't feel comfortable with. Those dreams freaked me out so much that I stopped trusting those men and stayed as far away as possible from them. Ir felt like it really happenned even if it was a dream. Those dreams are horrbile.

I do occasionally dream about sex but mostly when I haven't masturbated in a while or my hormones are really high and I haven't had sex for whatever reason.

I have really hot sex dreams and I'll end up jackin' it during the night without my knowledge.. awkward! I also have really terrible sex dreams with guys I know in them. Like all my friends are just chillin, I go into a room with a guy friend, have the WORST and shortest sex of my life, and I wake up.

Sex dreams are supposed to be GOOD! What's wrong with us? :[

I have never, as far as I know, ever had a dream about sex. I have had dreams with women in them, but that's as far as it went.

I used to dream about sex more often. It is rare that I do now. Maybe once a month or so. Usually it involves a person other than my partner or some strange creature. O_O I actually don't prefer sex dreams over other kinds, but they usually aren't really bad dreams. Oh, unless they are with people I REALLY don't want to even imagine having sex with.
