I hate condoms, but all the times I or my partner used one, it didn't break.

Call me paranoid but the only person I trust is me. That being said I continued to use condoms for the STD protection until I settled down and got married

In a little over 5 years, my partner and I have never had one break during use. You have broken some while putting them on, and we have twanged *many* across the room in frustration. Neither of us is terribly coordinated. :]

I've never had one break. I think that a lot of breaks can be attributed to improper use like inadequate amounts of lube, using a condom past it's expiration date, or using one that's too small. Or just plain putting it on wrong.

I've had one break while having sex which was a huge bummer. Luckily we use both hormonal contraceptives AND condoms! The worst part was that when I peed afterwards a bit of the condom fell out of me...yikes.

Yep, but there was no risk of STDs, and I was on the pill, so it wasn't a total disaster. It's happened a few times.
