Has your partner ever shaved you?

Contributor: liilii080 liilii080
I'm interested in trying a little erotic grooming with my partner and I'm curious to hear any tips, tricks, or blunders from those of you who do this before I jump in. Does your partner shave you? What do you do to make it easier? Has anything gone wrong (or really right)? Thanks!

My partner never has and never will. I am afraid I will have a lot of accidental cuts that will be too painful to bear.

Once, a long time ago, my husband did shave me. It turned out ok. But I will never let him do it again, because I was nervous, not turned on, the whole time.

It's a long time fantasy of mine - but since my wife has taken it upon herself to shave regularly the allure isn't so much. Removing some stubble isn't nearly as exciting as 'doing the big reveal'.

But even at that - I'd still love to do it - taking my time to do a superb job and relishing every second of the 'close encounter'. Oral sex is obviously closer - but this would be strictly eye-to-vulva - mmmmmmmmmmmm

No, and I have been too nervous to let him even try to do it. I figured if I got one of those battery operated trimmers I would let him try that but not putting a razor down there.

My husband keeps my bits in order, it's something that he did once and really liked it so he continues to do so. He does an excellent job and it makes me feel taken care of.

I was nervous the first time but he was very careful and I haven't worried since. The things we have found that are most important are a good razor, a good shaving lotion and doing it at the end of the shower (with the water still running) because waiting to the end allows the skin and hair to soften and prevents razor burn. Paying attention to what he's trying to shave and angling yourself so that the skin is available and taut enables a closer shave and minimizes the chance for nicks (as in I pretty much never have them.)

seaofneptune - I understand your apprehension - so just in case my wife decides to let me try, I bought these Va j-j Visor shields link to protect her inner vulva from the offending blades. We haven't used them yet - but she's going in for a series of laser hair removal sessions (Brazilian) and she's taking these along - just in case!

Angel deSanguine - thanks for sharing your story, your husbands skill is something I'd love to demonstrate for my gal.

My husband and I take care of each other this way. We use an electric razor to avoid irritation and fear of cutting each other. My husband has been grooming me for over a decade. I wouldn't have it any other way. He enjoys cleaning things up to his liking. I feel the same way.

Scariest experience of my life...I have MAJOR trust issues and his hands were shaking so bad I just knew vital bits were going to be cut off. It went ok actually but we decided not to do it again.

Super helpful tips Angel deSanguine. My biggest concern is that he'll try to go too fast or too rough. When I see the way he shaves his face I can't believe he comes out with his chin still on! Maybe I'll let him practice on my legs first, but if I see his hands shake, I think I'm going to have to take the reins back.

My husband shaves his face in like 5 minutes flat! It's crazy! That's why I was nervous the first time but he goes much slower and more careful when he's shaving me- he doesn't want to lop anything off!

I think I recall him doing it. I also recall a past partner doing it once or twice. It wasn't really sexual though.

I've never had a partner shave me before, exactly. Well, kind of. My boyfriend and I were drunk one night and I had just recently bought some wax to see if I could do my naughty bits with it myself. But again, we were drinking, so we decided it would be fun to try to wax each other. He used a trimmer on me first to get the hair short enough, and then we did the waxing. And OW. He got about a third of the way done before it hurt way too much. When I tried to wax him, I got about one or two strips done before he chickened out.

So, no, I haven't been shaved. I'd like to try it, but I doubt my boyfriend would. I've never really thought of suggesting it, but if I did he'd probably look at me like "wha?"

I have MS and have trouble with gripping things where I have to be meticulous and I am so scared that I would have a muscle twitch or something. God that would be awful so we opt for the electric instead and follow up with the clippers.

It always leads to more too. That is the best part. Not that we wouldn't play otherwise anyway

Never had a partner shave me, and I'm not sure if I would let them. I can tell if I am applying too much pressure so that I can avoid cuts and I dont think I could avoid them as well with someone else doing the shaving lol.

You're so up beat and positive in spite of your MS - to me that's real courage. I sure hope they continue to make progress with new drugs and treatments for you.

Oh my goodness me too! They are coming out with all sorts of new and fabulous things. Now if we can just get stem cell replacement to be covered through insurance we'd all be cured. *Crosses fingers that someday I will be approved for this treatment*

Nope, and he never will! I feel un-sexy when he sees me hairy..it's just my preference to have him only see me neat and tidy.

I don't think I'd want him to do that. I'd probably worry or panic too much and cause him to cut me.

my husband has shaved me before. During oral sex he has complained about 'fur' bing in the way and i tell him i can't see it all to shave it, so he's shaved some for me before. I find it kinda a turn on. HE won't let me shave him. Fear of me cutting him i suppose. My husband has made a tiny nick on me but nothing major and nothing really went wrong.
