Recently I was diagnosed with HSV-2. This infection was the result of a sexual assault. I've been in daily counseling for it and starting to come to terms with it. I am still going through the initial outbreak, and am pretty miserable at the present time. Does anybody who is living with HSV-2 have any tips for outbreak relief? I'm also trying to comprise a list of things I can change about my lifestyle to lessen the chances of having another outbreak.
Another worry is me is that my sex life will be pretty much ruined. My current partner is being extremely supportive. What precautions do I need to take with him to ensure I don't pass HSV to him??
