I have been having this problem for a while.

Contributor: Eden062112 Eden062112
Every once in a while I get this problem that when I go to the bathroom, I can't stop FEELING like I have to go, but when I go into the bathroom to try to go only a little comes out... but I still feel like I HAVE TO GO.

Sometimes it takes DAYS for this to go away, and the pain is awful, sometimes I can't barely move for fear of making it worse. Sometimes I have a slight pinkish hue in my pee, like its blood.

Does anyone know what this is?

I ask because I am starting to have this problem again today and I just want to fix it.

It sounds like you might have a urinary tract infection. Here is some information on it. I hope you feel better soon!

Definitely a bladder infection. Drink cranberry juice and if it doesn't go away for a few days you'll need antibiotics.

Seconding everyone else. Sounds like a UTI to me. I get them a lot. You should get to the doctor ASAP to get some antibiotics. If you let them continue on then can get worse. Cranberry juice is good to help relieve some of the pain as well as prevent them in the future.

Ouch, I definitely think that's a UTI, I second the trip to a doctor and to drink pure cranberry juice. Most places sell juice that has only partial cranberry juice in there, and that's annoying since you need the 100% juice or as close as you can get to have the healing effects.

It sounds like a really bad UTI. There are over-the-counter medications to treat them, but you should really go to your doctor so they can rule out a bladder infection with a test. Bladder infections are more serious, so the sooner the better.

I'd say UTI or kidney stones. Definitely go see your doctor about it.

Sounds like a classic UTI. Could be kidney stones, but mine haven't felt like that.

truthfully, this happens to me for like a day every so often. i don't think it is doctor worthy though. it is just weird. it goes away, it isn't painful or anything just irritating. i haven't figured it out either.

UTI or also called kidney or bladder infection. I am prone to them, and so are most women. Women usually get them after sex or if they hold off going to the bathroom for awhile, and a lot of pregnant women get them too these are just some of the causes among other things. I would suggest going to the doctor, blood in your urine is not healthy and it is not a good sign.

UTI. Azo makes a pill that will make it hurt less, but don't take it the day you go to the doctor for a test, as it will fiddle with the results.

UTI, I would think. I have had several, and I always need antibiotics to clear mine up or they go into my kidneys, and you SO do not want to know what that feels like.

UTI, see your doctor asap, so it won't get worse. SOme women are prone to them. You won't die from it, it's not like an STD, so don't freak out. Just talk to doc and get some antibiotics.

UTI, go to the doctor. They'll be able to give you the right med to treat the type of infection it is. Different meds work for different infections when it comes to UTIs. Until you can get to the doctor, drink as much water as you can and try to pee every 30 minutes and the second you feel like you need to. Cranberry juice will help prevent a future one (make sure it's 100%) but won't eliminate the one you have now. I've had a lot of issues with these in the past. I hope you find relief soon!

I'm with everyone else with the UTI. Go to your doc as soon as you can. The infection can spread and cause very serious damage.

I think you probably have recurring UTI. However UTI generally doesn't go away by itself without some antibiotics. It could be kidney stone as well. Does your pee smell unusual, like stinky? One way you can tell it's definitely a bacterial infection is from the smell.

Sounds like a bladder infection, my daughter is prone to getting them. Most of the time it takes antibiotics to get rid of it. In the meantime start with the cranberry juice and drink lots of water.
