We haven't used condoms for more than a decade now.

I'm on the pill, but we also use condoms for the added sense of protection and ease of cleanup.

We don't use protection. He's had a vasectomy. And we haven't had other partners in a long time. We have both been tested.

Pill is more effective than condoms. And when we use condoms it tends to dry my gf out more.

I had a vasectomy 16 years ago.

I use girl sex for protection with my GF. Also, with Master, he's had a vasectomy, and I have an IUD, so we don't use protection. With others, I don't do fluid bonding casually, so use condoms.

I had my tubes tied after my last ortho surprise baby. I had two while on birth control so I figured either I was very fertile or the pill just did not work for me.

Oh my!! I had a friend who's story is very similar! They told her she would never have kids so she went on fertility meds and had twins. Nine months later got pregnant while on the pill. Nine months after that baby was born she got pregnant while on the patch! So much for never having kids!! She got her tubes tied too.

IUD. I was very happy to be rid of condoms. Though ease of cleanup was pretty sweet...

Not calendar based tracking of my cycle because that's not really accurate. More just being aware of when I'm fertile and not having sex during that time. Similar to the billings or creighton method. It's really nice not having any hormones in my body and it works really well.

I use the pill. We did condoms and the pill for awhile, but when we moved in together, we quit the condoms and just use the pill.

I voted condoms because that's what we've done mostly, but starting soon, the pill. Or possibly...abstinence.

I use the pill. I'm consistent, its more reliable than condoms, plus it keeps me regular.

We use withdrawal. YES. If you are in a committed relationship, the man is responsible enough to comply and has the control to do so, and you make sure the man's urethra is clear of any semen from the last ejaculation (easy, just have him pee first) then withdrawal is a workable method for many people.

"Pre-come" really doesn't have sperm in it. Most couples who get pregnant from withdrawal have either not cleared the urethra after the last ejaculation, the man doesn't pull out in time, and the first spurt of semen is shot in, or it isn't used consistently. In perfect use, it is as effective as condoms. No kidding.

We got pregnant a number of times using "Natural Family Planning" even during my supposed "Safe Times." I think it's a plot to get women pregnant, but that's just my paranoia talking (plus, I'm not going to abstain for weeks every month!)

The Pill makes me ill and causes me to gain weight and become very depressed. Depo Provera caused me to gain 45 lbs, become very depressed and lose my sex drive.

I'm allergic to latex, so most barrier methods are out, diaphragm (although I used to have one) most condoms etc. My Man needs large condoms and they don't seem to make nonlatex condoms in large sizes. I refuse to use a female condom (doesn't that outer ring sit right ON your clit?) and seeing as we have sex at least every day, I can't afford them.

I don't trust spermicide creams, films, foams etc. Not only do they have a high failure rate, but I seem to be allergic to Noxinal 9.

I have had too much scar tissue in my urogenital track to have my tubes tied.Or to have my uterine lining ablated. The fallopian tube "plugs" are not covered by our insurance. My Man, for some reason refuses to have a vasectomy. It's his body, but I really wish he would look at the facts, instead of giving in to his fears of "cutting my balls off."

So, unless we want to have kids like the Duggars (we are very fertile) withdrawal is a good method for us.

We used withdrawal and the rhythm method before he had the vasectomy. Never got pregnant, but was tired of worrying that we would. The vasectomy was his idea. I always said I went through the pregnancies so if any altering was to be done he had to do it.

It's a great argument. He won't have it done. He actually never goes to the doctor unless he ends up the ER for something.

He says he's going to wait until I'm post menopausal. Then we won't have to worry about it. *sigh* He has a bit of a wait.

I'm glad your man consented. It would be a relief.

I was actually talking to him about having a 3rd when he suddenly decided he needed to get it done! Hahahaha...
