My symptoms really vary month by month. I used to experience bad bloating, changes in my bowel movements, cramps, aches, and irritability due to all this. I'm off hormonal birth control now and on a non-hormonal method but my PMS has improved greatly.

I get all sorts of crazy. Mood swings, from almost mania to depression. Bleck. It has all but disappeared since I started using an IUD as my birth control, though.

I picked a few of the them but then again I am old enough to be having perimenopause so it could be that too.

I selected most of the options. :s

One weird one, though, is that instead of a decrease in sexual interest, I experience the *opposite*.

I'm on LoSeasonique now so that I only have to do it four times a year, hooray !

Mu nipples begin to hurt very very badly, and i get really sad and anxious as well as tired, and just before bleeding, bloating. I don't turn into a raving angry monster, though, lol. Mostly I just want to be left alone and remain quiet, or I want a lot of hugs and cuddles complete with a heating pad.

I have the same thing happen. About a week before my period up until I get it, my sex drive revs way up. Despite feeling crappy due to PMS symptoms.

oh gosh. so many. my nipples tend to get kind of sensitive, but not too bad. i definitely bloat, and it makes me feel horrible and gasy - with that, bowel changes happen of course. if anything, my skin gets a little clearer (i'm on the pill)... i definitely always want chocolate (MARS BARS!), and i'm always always tired! my sexual desire goes way up - so horny! i'm crampy as hell and it affects my leg muscles greatly, and lower back. there's some definite mood swings and other hormonal craziness involved.

shit.

guys have it easy

I'm usually a pretty level person, emotionally. But when I start PMS-ing, I can't even figure out what's going on! I'm laughing, I'm crying, I'm so miserable I can't move, I don't want to sit still, I'm exhausted, I'm hyperactive, I'm affectionate, I don't want to be touched...
And it's SO FRUSTRATING because I know those thoughts and feelings aren't actually ME, but I can't stop it.

I have absolutely every single one listed and each one is very intense! I turn into a totally diff. person and hate it! It's that time now too. Mine is mostly due to having endometriosis rather than PMS. My mother and grandmother, my twin and I have all had horrible female issues. My twin is actually the only one of us who hasn't had surgery for it. Hers isn't extreme, but she has pretty bad symptoms and extremely heavy ones. It's a disaster! Lol

Since I stopped taking the pill---none. Absolutely none. It's been the best, lightest, and least painful periods I've had in fifteen years. It's freakin' wonderful!

When I was on the pill, I was miserable at that time of the month. I wanted to kill everything in site, eat house and home and then lay in bed until it was over. I was nauseated, crampy and extremely bitchy. Thank God I stopped taking the pill.

My back hurts. So badly. My boyfriend has to give me a backrub every other day or I cannot walk. Also, I poop like, daily. Usually I only poop every 4-5 days.

Before I got in the pill, I would be in agony. I've been on it for years, but I notice my mood and cramps getting bad again lately. Think my hormones are changing and the pill is interacting differently. Also, think I may have endometriosis or an ovarian cyst possibly. Had a test, no results yet. Then have to get an ultrasound.

I have the same problems. I get irritated and angry at anything right before my period. I try to control it because I know it's not me, but it's really impossible.

because I'm on the pill, most of those symptoms are alleviated or nonexistent. I find that I get really irritable and the smallest things piss me off. I also get slightly crampy the day before and the day of.

I selected several of them but I don't usually get all of those every month, they vary. Almost always have mild cramps and fatigue, but the rest vary from cycle to cycle.

I used to not have ANY symptoms, but after my second child, things drastically changed. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who has different sleeping habits! I literally can't sleep the week before my cycle, I sit in bed for hours restless and it's awful! I also get half or more of the other listed symptoms.

Holy crap I have alomst that whole list, even with the pill!
The only ones I do not have are the decreased sexual desire, Acne, depreesion, withdrawal from family and friends, and Anxiety.

If I get cramps, I get them during my period, not before.

My back will ache the day before. But I rarely experience the mood swings. I have an IUD now, and haven't had a real cycle in almost a year. So about once a month, I get back pain, and frustration doesn't get channeled well. If I randomly burst into tears because I spilled juice on the floor, hubby knows the hormones are going nuts. I still get the stupid acne trouble. Basically one monster once a month.
