If the gel is glycerin free I prefer it but if not then it has to be liquid. I just found a liquid lube here that I love now!

Over all I like a thicker lube, less reapplication is needed. A must for anal play too. I do like liquid lube for use with Fleshlights though, it helps me to feel the texture better.

I prefer liquid. My favorite liquid lubes are silicones. You only need a teeny tiny little bit, and it lasts forever and never ever gets sticky! I just hate that I can't use it with a bunch of my toys.

I think for vaginal intercourse liquid lube is much much better. But For clitoral play and maybe a smaller non waterproof vibrator I would use gel because it stays in one place better.
