Personally I think waxing works best, my skin is too sensitive for hair removal creams, but I end up shaving since going to go get waxed can be pricing and I can't stand waiting for the right amount of grow-out

I just got waxed for the first time, it wasn't nearly as bad as everyone had made it out to be (don't get me wrong, its still hurts). Only downside is waiting for it to grown back )= Its worth it in my opinion though!

I've never had a wax done down there. Where do you go for something like this? I've never seen it advertised before. Maybe I just don't look at the right place.

They must have waxed it just right. I hate when they go against hair growth.

You can go to a beauty salon and ask if they offer a bikini wax. Ouch!

I shave, it's just easiest for me.

Most spas and many nail salons offer waxing. Near our house they advertise on signs in the front window. Did you know a "JLo" is a full wax, including the butt and butt crack? We read this on a sign (along with 10 other different types of waxes) one day and my husband still gets a kick out of it. (It differs from a Brazilian, as a Brazilian leaves a landing strip, traditionally.)

I usually shave now. I used to wax but money is tight these days

Thanks! I'll have to look up the ones in my area. I'd love to go get one at some point.

A J-Lo is what I need!

I use one of those little trimmer things and then a "No-No". It was a little reward for me having worked so hard all winter. It is amazing! No burn, no itch, no red bumps... Definitely worth it. And, when one does the math as to how much is spent on razors and accessories, it pays for itself rather quickly! I do love it!
Another thing, is that the hair is slower to grow back and when it does there is less and less of it and it is way finer.

I've been really interested in the "No-No", but don't want to spend so much money buying it, seems like it's the best hair removal solution out there.

Ouch that would hurt even more I would think! I would have to go after swallowing a couple of pain pills I suppose or be totally drunk to have it done. LOL

Do you happen to have the brand and model of the type of trimmer that worked for you? I would like to look it up and see if it's something I would like to use.

Razor is the only way I have tried

Probably just shaving cream and a razor. I cannot stand the way nair smells.

Nair smells awful but works great

I use the old razor and shaving creme. I'd like to try waxing, but I'm too afraid to do it let someone else do it.

Does anybody know anything about the laser stuff?
08/03/2012
Shaving is the easiest for me. I don't have the kind of money to go and get laser hair removal and I feel weird asking people at salons to wax me down below.

I like waxing the best. The first few times I did it, I thought it hurt, but now I have come to enjoy it. The warm wax being spread on to my skin and the knowledge that after that short intense burst of feeling, I am going to be as smooth as I can be is now not only an enjoyable experience, it is somewhat of a turn-on. However, most of the time, there's just not enough time to do a proper waxing, so lately I have either shaved (meh) or used an epilator (SUPER ouch!)

As a male I prefer to use clippers to 'trim'. At a much younger age I tried razor and cream and no thanks again. Didn't cut myself, but the itching and red spots from shaving was not fun.

as a girl, shaving!
08/03/2012
I shave. I've never waxed but it's really expensive for something you'd have to do every month forever.
If I ever get the money, I'm investing in laser!

I shave, and I use a tea tree oil soap instead of shaving cream, so I have very few bumps.
08/03/2012
I shave, I'm too scared to wax because of the pain.
