In closet, because we still without childrens. But some times I became afraid that one of my wife's freind may open the closet and search around. It will be a disaster.
I use a toolbox. It holds a fair amount of toys (including one puffy pouch for a glass toy and a couple of VixSkin tubes) and it only cost around $11, plus I can put a padlock on it if I'm worried about someone nosing around (though for me it's not usually an issue). I recently got a second, smaller one for my anal toys, too.
The ones that don't get used very often, but aren't bad enough to throw out/boil and give away just go in a bag in the closet.
I've got the Original Toibocks and a purse in my closet. The Toibocks is LOVELY on my dresser and totally worth it. I picked it up during a 20% off sale. I'm going to get a pink toolbox off Amazon later on when I have $33 for the rest of the stuff.
I keep my glass stuff in the 'Bocks and I plan to keep the other, less breakable stuff in the toolbox.
I was wondering where you all store your toys at? I know they make some toy cases but they are kind of expensive and never seem to hold all my stuff.
For now all my x-rated items, magazines included, are stored in a backpack I have that no one ever thinks to check.
If you need something pretty cheap many backpacks and duffel bags can be rigged in a way that they can be locked closed.
As long as you wrap any breakable toys in bubble wrap or cloth and the soft ones that can break down over time (rubber, pvc, jelly...etc.) each in a zippy bag or store bag you should be alright. ^_^
I got a little office drawer set, where the top drawer is normal size and the bottom one is made for filing. The bottom drawer is my naughty drawer, and holds most of my toys. It also has the advantage of being lockable.
The disadvantage is that it's kind of ugly, but I got a really cheap one. I'm sure there are drawer sets that look more like furniture, which I'll upgrade to eventually. The main thing is that deeeep drawer. It makes things so much easier!
We have a tote box full, we take them out of the packaging they come in and put them in large zip lock bags labeled waterproof or not....Kids know not to touch that tote

I got a locking box from amazon called "vaultz" I wish EF would carry this item. its great. It locks, has the ability to be locked with a laptop cable and fits under the bed. And fits all my toys.
I just keep mine in my nightstand drawer, but i'm not in the kind of living situation where I'd be worried about someone snooping. A friend of mine does have that issue, and she keeps hers in a shoe box. Simple enough that it would be overlooked in the closet.
They are mostly in a plastic bin in the closet and we keep floggers and rope hanging in the closet. There is another huge basket of rope in the entertainment center in the living room since we tend to do rope practice in there. Toys migrate around the house due to use and reviews. At this moment, there are some on the night stand, some on my desk, some in the bathroom, and a few dildos sitting on the dining room table (clean, natch!)
