A lot of condoms end up needing extra lube. It can't hurt to get some anyway, because what's the worst that happens? You have extra lube you can use for sex some other time?

How bizzare, I guess it's a good idea if you tend to be dry. Personally, I've never needed lube for vaginal sex.
