While sex toys can seem like a solo thing, sex toys can also be used with a partner. Like Tristan Taormino says in her book, one of the most common complaints that she hears is that there isn't enough foreplay before intercourse.

Tristan mentions using sex toys as a way to speed up the foreplay process by using dildos, vibrators, and other items. She mentions that using a dildo before intercourse can even help make things more comfortable if you have a well-endowed partner.

She mentions that sex toys allow you to have an extra set of hands in the bedroom as you could insert an anal toy during other play or when a position keeps you out of arm's reach, the vibrator can be the stand-in. Plus, for long-term couples, toys can give a boost to your sex life by providing something new!

All of them. My partner says "toys make his job easier". Even though we use toys together, I usually have to be the driver for toys that are inserted into my vagina, I find it uncomfortable when he thrusts with a rigid toy and using an internal vibe, I just catch the pleasure spots better.

I use them mostly for solo but will use some vibes during sex. If I use my toys for foreplay, it is likely going to be used in a mutual masturbation session then for PIV sex.

My guy is still clueless about foreplay. When he wants sex, he wants it now and foreplay is not part of his repertoire, lol....but I'm working on it.

My toys are growing more and more on my guy, which I am super happy about, but there is still some work to do.

I do all of them, depending on the situation. Sometimes we're just way too excited to think about opening up the ol' sex toy box, but other times things are most leisurely and drawn out. Depends on the mood!

My partner is not the kind of man to skimp on forplay. Seriously in the 5 years we've been together, we've never skipped forplay anymore than maybe 10 times! That's stretching it too. He always insists on forplay until I just can't hold off any longer. Lol. I ain't complainin' though! I rarely use my toys alone. He usually uses them on me as forplay. It's usually oral for 45 minutes to an hour (sometimes longer!) and then we go for a toy and then sex. I don't usually care for toys during sex since I'm too busy with enjoying that part alone. I don't know what I'd do if we didn't use my toys as a couple.

When my partner and I first got together, I'd never even owned a toy (NONE! And I was 17!). After about 6 months, a friend bought us a few starter toys, and that's when our intimacy really flourished. We use toys both before and during intercourse, together and alone.

I subscribe to all of them.

As mentioned in the topic, I am well-endowed. Foreplay is essential for us, as it allows her to warm up and for her vaginal muscles to become more relaxed. Toys during foreplay or intercourse add so much dimension to regular, run-of-the-mill intercourse.
