I wouldn't say so. When my boyfriend and I have sex, and we stop to switch positions or relocate into another room, sometimes he will start to lose his. I'm not sure why this happens but it's nothing that a little lick or two can't fix.

With younger people it's usually anxiety that kills the boner - performance anxiety, fear of impregnating the partner etc.
