I'm trying to figure out whether it is necessary or not. Has anyone had worries with your wall coming down if you were to install the swing? Should I buy both of them or not?
Would I need the stand for the fantasy fetish swing?

No problems in the ceiling. I wrote an article about swings on sexis, [link|link] and tim did a video on hanging the swings. No issues at out house. I could see finding an area to set up a stand an issue!

I feel the stand is a bit flimsy.

Just the swing is okay.

as long as you attach the hardware to wood, you should have no problems. And by wood, I mean something that was put there for structural reasons.

Just the swing is okay. You should screw it into a secure beam.

My husband would love one of these.

I would say it depends. More than likely the swing only would be enough for any ceilings - W/we, living in an RV, don't have the space for it, neither the strength in the construction. So if you think it could ever happen to you that the swing wouldn't be enough you can have the stand, just in case. Plus it's portable to take anywhere.

The stand isn't really necessary unless you can't properly install the swing in the ceiling.

We have a stand with our swing...wouldn't go any other way!

I agree, I guess there should have been an Other option for this choice...

less
You might need the stand later in life, for example it wasn't available for purchase for a long time before it came back, it wasn't even listed as I recall... And honestly, who would want to spend real money of such a price for it if you can get it while it is available here, with points...
Am definitely gonna grab it! ^^

You can get just the swing, but you would need to read up a bit. Understand load, how to install it, what to use to install it. That kind of stuff.

The swing is okay
