Honestly, the best way I can put it is this movie was made to be bought, but not necessarily to be enjoyed. There's a lot of good in here, but it falls victim to checklist syndrome. It really felt like a lot of the decisions were made solely based on what they could then claim on the box.

Flying Solo 2 is a film consisting entirely of women masturbating alone with sex toys. A concept that really needs little justification. I really thought that you couldn't go wrong with that, provided you used a halfway decent cast and production equipment. To be fair, there is nothing wrong with any of the scenes. They pull out some b list talent, but nothing really stands out as bad. Unfortunately, when you take the movie as a whole, the cracks start to show. The box proudly states that it has “20 Single Girl Masturbation Scenes.” Each of the 20 scenes features one girl masturbating using a toy and talking dirty. There are variations in scenery, toys, and the type of talk, but it still all feels the same. Each scene lasts from 10-15 minutes like clockwork. There's no shared masturbation scenes, very little anal for a film that claims “No orifice is safe”, and a general sense of creative void. I'm not saying that every porn has to be high art, but after 10 or so scenes, I had seen enough.

Notable stars include London Keyes, Nikki Benz, Asa Akira, Raylene, and their star girl Kagney Linn Karter. Obviously there are a lot more, but they don't even get box recognition. The DVD's technical features are passable. Scene cuts are at the beginning of each scene, and no scene really warrants two cuts. Some scenes I would have loved to have seen more of, while others I was ok with ending quickly. Despite the box claim, there is no behind the scenes included, but there is a photo gallery, though lackluster.

This movie is a hard one to give a final verdict on. There was good stuff in there, but it felt empty at the same time, like it was padded. If you're a fan of toys, there is a lot here, and the price isn't bad. Otherwise, this may not be the film for you. If this review feels a little empty, that's because it really didn't give me much to write about. It literally is a series of 20 women masturbating for 10-15 minutes, nothing more, nothing less.
