Throb POV by Digital Playground - review by BrokeNHorny

Throb POV is an excellent example of POV porn. Whether or not you like it may depend heavily on whether you like the genre, as it tends to show a little less action and the camera is limited to a select few angles. However, this may change your mind, as it does a very good job turning its limitations into strengths.

The main portion of the movie clocks in at just over two hours, and features only four scenes. There is a good bit of buildup in each of the scenes, but at around a half an hour each, they have the time. Intros include some amateurish stripping, a lot of great closeups and some foreplay. The action is par for the mainstream course, and has a nice mix of anal thrown in. Actresses include Krystal Steal, Naomi, Amy Reid and Riley Shy. Some people may not like the over the back shots and others with focus away from the action going on. This is what makes it true to the POV genre, and take that as you will.

Aside from the crux of the film, it has a cumshot recap, which is nice albeit short, and “bonus footage.” The bonus footage is in fact the entirety of Jana Cova's scenes and is broken into 7 parts. Some of it contains some bondage and other fetish material, but does not contain actual sex. I was a bit surprised that this was all of Jana Cova's involvement, especially since she gets pretty high billing on the case. Additionally, there is no way to play all seven parts consecutively, stopping the flow.

Video quality is good and in 16:9 widescreen, and enough makeup is used for all of the closeups. Scene cuts occur at position changes, and are all present and accounted for. The is a photo gallery and some other trailers included, but neither are particularly worth watching. The sound can be a bit off at times, which is a shame. For example, the first scene has Krystal Steal on a makeshift stripper pole. She doesn't particularly know how to use it, and it clunks around a lot. As such, the clinking really comes out loud, and is offputting. A little sound editing could have fixed stuff like this.

The real draw of this movie is the close camera angles. There are some closeups of blowjobs, pussy and ass that really sell the POV genre. I give it a four due to the sound issues and the bad formatting around Jana Cova's scene, but this is a very sexy film. If you're a fan of the genre, or would like to give it a try, you can't go wrong with this one.
