Nina Hartley is a well-known name in the sex-industry. Any internet search of her will bring up more a plethora of information and titillating pictures of the gorgeous "milf". This particular DVD in a series of "how-to" DVDs put out by Ms. Hartley focuses on swinging.

The DVD shows a man and a woman who are interested in trying swinging. It shows a few different scenarios of how a partner could bring up swinging to another, and different outcomes and reactions. It gives some helpful tips and suggestions on bringing up swinging with your partner, such as giving each other time to think things through, and of course, being absolutely sure about the decision to "play" with other people and couples.

The video then segues into the couples first encounter with a third partner. They choose a woman they know, and invite her into the bedroom. After some fun with each other, the woman invites them to a swinger party, which is several couples all having fun and indulging in one another.

The DVD definitely wasn't what I was expecting, but neither was a "swinger party" as depicted in this video. I have an open mind to swinging and to open relationships (my girlfriend and I have had a handful of threesomes, and we enjoy letting other people in on our fun), so I thought the DVD would shed some light on the taboo subject. However, the DVD didn't tell me or show me anything more than I already knew, so I was a little disappointed. I can't say that no one would be helped by it at all, because the beginning suggestions are very helpful, especially if you think you'd have some trouble bringing the topic of swinging up to your significant other.

The DVD is a little old-but not out of date. Of course, the hairstyles and outfits give it away, but year after year, sex remains sex, and pleasure remains pleasure!
