Get Cha Freak On by Erocktavision - review by Femme Mystique

The Erocktavision series is somewhat of a niche series of adult DVD's. The movies are a little more avante-garde than traditional porn, shot in the style of an erotic music video. The human sounds have been stripped and there is instead music to accompany the videos. The actresses in this film are all decidedly on the feminine end of the spectrum, and though they are in costume, their overall look is very natural--there are no impractical french manicures to get in the way. Getcha Freak On is shot in four scenes, which are all very different and vary in their appeal.

Scene one is 17 minutes long and features Charmane Star and Lindsey Meadows. The two women are clad in camouflage and break into a building to have sex in a stairwell. This scene has a fairly extensive amount of Charmane and Lindsey exclusively kissing but features oral sex and tribadism as well. Charmane and Lindsey seem to have good chemistry and are convincing as a couple. Overall this was a pretty good scene with a slightly confusing premise and somewhat distracting music.

Scene two is 14 minutes long and features Charmane and Lindsey along with Joelean and Kimberly Kane. This is a group sex scene shot on a rooftop with kiddie pools and seems to be more focused on teasing and foreplay. I found this scene to be probably the weakest scene in the movie, and though it is shorter than the first scene, it seems to drag on much longer than necessary. The kiddie pools and squirt guns seemed more like a gimmick that you would find in lower quality porn, and the chemistry seemed somewhat contrived.

Scene Three is 20 minutes long and features Akina, Joelean, and Kimberly Kane. This is a group sex scene set in a garage that utilizes power play and toys. I found this scene to be one of the higher points of the movie and the addition of Akina into this scene keeps things fresh, as the other two are actresses repeated from previous scenes. The setting is somewhat strange, but this scene is very fast-paced, intense, and full of passion. This scene includes oral sex and strap on sex between the three actresses.

Scene four features Charmane and Lindsey again, this time in somewhat of a western-themed shoot. It's the longest of the scenes at just under 25 minutes. This scene features all of the heat previously scene between Charmane and Lindsey in scene one performing oral sex on each other, but a strap on is added to the mix later in this scene. As with the first scene between these two actresses, there is a lot of very obvious chemistry in this scene, but the musical transitions in this scene seem somewhat abrupt and disrupt the continuity of the scene.

I also own Erocktavision 4: Girls' Night Out. When comparing the two, I would recommend Girls' Night Out. Though the cinematography in Get Cha Freak On is somewhat smoother, the scenes in Girls' Night Out seem more natural than in this release.
