Lesbian Seductions. Older/Younger. Vol.10 by Girlfriend's Films - review by Starlight Requiem

The Production Company
Before anything else, I'd like to talk about the company that produced this and many other lesbian videos, Girlfriends Films. Included with the DVD, in the Trailers section, is a six minute clip about who GFF is, and why they do what they do.

Most hardcore enthusiasts, and I'm sad to say this thought came to me at first as well, before watching this clip, is that this is a softcore video wrapped in the naughty lingerie of a hardcore one. However, my outlook changed upon this clip. Why? The woman in charge going over just why they put together this company, and why the things that happen in this, and their other products, are the way they are.

Softcore? Well, yes. To someone who has been into nothing but hardcore for years, you might think that about this video. Granted, this isn't a soft-core porno where all you get to see are breasts, the occasional ass shot, and maybe some pubic hair. No, never fear, you do get to see all of the juicy bits.

The Action
This movie is about older women seducing younger ones. Or at least that is how it is being marketed. The title of this review details just what you would expect to see. The expression of desire, followed by the pursuit and then seduction of the younger girl, all in part by the older woman. Sadly, out of the four scenes, this isn't entirely the case. While each scene features an older and a younger woman, those three things aren't accurately depicted. It's a bit more piecemeal than that.

First, let's discuss the Desire aspect. Yes, desire is present in all four of the scenes. However, two of the scenes give the impression of the two women as a couple. They live together and stay in the same bed, so the desire there is natural. But it doesn't really tie in well with the "Pursuit" aspect of this, because they are already a couple and sharing a bed. Where exactly is the thrill of the chase?

These two scenes more than anything else have the look of an older woman with a younger lover, who is cheating on the older woman (in the one scene, the older woman catches the younger girl with another woman), and the older woman acts possessive and seeks to reclaim what is hers. This leads to the sexual aspects of the scene. I suppose you could say there is a bit of seduction as well, but I just think it could have been done a lot better than it was.

Pursuit, implies that one woman is chasing the other, similar to how men pursue ladies in bars or clubs. Obviously, it's to get the girl into her bed, which makes it a bit disappointing when two of the scenes already have the women sharing a bed, as I stated before.

The problem with this is in the other two scenes. The pursuit is noted here, but the women still live in the same household. On the whole, there is a very subtle undercurrent of incest with these two scenes. Granted there could be a number of reasons why an older woman and a younger woman would be living together.

But when you take into account the level of familiarity expressed by the two during the dialogue that opens the scene. While there is never any mention of a relationship based on blood and certainly nothing as overt as the terms "mother" or "daughter", it is still a feeling in the air between the two.

These two scenes also handle the Seduction aspect well in how things start off slow, with a bit of innocent touching that leads to more. But still, the two are in bed at, or very near, the start of the scene. To me, it could have been improved quite a bit with a bit more foreplay away from the bed. Almost as if the older woman were coaxing the younger into bed and the sweet pleasures that lay within.

That being said, I'm sure by now you are wondering about just what kind of action takes place in this movie. Well, it is very romantic in my opinion. There is a lot of soft caresses, touching, and making out. There is only one toy used in the film, everything else revolves around the body itself. There is also quite a lot of the ladies rubbing themselves against the thigh. In a few cases, clitoris to clitoris rubbing.

Each scene is about 45 minutes in length, and is fairly similar in how it works. A slow buildup of heat, with several pops slipped in from time to time. There is virtually no music track and what music that can be heard is very soft and classy. It's definitely not cheap crap used in most hardcore productions I've seen.

But then, that is what GFF is going for here. A classy piece of adult entertainment that's not quite softcore, yet not quite hardcore. I don't mean to be offensive with this next comment but one way of looking at it is that this is a video "by lesbians, for lesbians". Rather than something like most of the fodder out there, that is just to pique the interest of horny men.

My Experience
To be honest, the DVD has volume issues. With my PC set to 100%, I still needed to adjust the Boost in my player to it's max, to be able to hear the dialogue in a lot of cases. That left the Main Menu louder than normal. Headphones seem to be warranted, if things need to be kept secret.

There are no real special features or extras with this. A handful of trailers are available that you can view, along with the clip I mentioned earlier about the company's "mission statement".
