James Avalon's Sex Pix is a 2005 feature film from Red Light District Films.

"A young woman wakes up in a model room, naked with only a volatile, ill-tempered cowboy, and a few scattered photos of her in various sex acts. She has absolutely no idea who he is, how she got there or who took the pictures. Finding out is the whole story as the plot moves backwards in time, uncovering rough sex, house orgies, a jealous boyfriend with a sadistic bend, a sex club, and a little romance."

This film stars Sunny Lane, Veronica Jett, Kelly Wells, Isabella Stanza, Tyla Wynn, Hillary Scott, Alektra Blue, Luccia, Dominica Leoni, Staci Thorn, Haley Paige and Gia. Sex Pix also has appearances by Manuel Ferrara, Erik Everhard, Mason, Evan Stone, Mr. Marcus, Tee Reel, Brett Rockman and Kurt Lockwood.

The film opens up with Sunny Lane (named Cheryl Bee Classic from Nipplesville, Florida, as indicated by her driver's license pictured in the first scene...) waking up and attacking the man she supposedly slept with by stabbing him in the throat. Very disheveled, she finds her purse and dumps it out to find Polaroid photos of the events of the night before - including various sex acts and a photo that on the back says, "do not trust this man" - the film flips to the previous day.

She proceeds to make her way back through time, evidently, and engages in scenes of group sex, threesomes and what appears to be a BDSM setting.

Some of the scenes include table dancing men who end up getting blowjobs/having sex with the women (which included an ass to mouth scene, which kind of gave me the willies, in a bad way), group sex, sex in the shower scenes with people watching, foot jobs and toe sucking.

There are also African American and Latina actors/actresses, which I appreciated.

I could barely follow the plot because there was so much randomness going on. In the end, all was well, Sunny Lane was happy and fucking her little heart out.

The part I enjoyed most about this DVD was easily the bloopers feature. It was funny... showing bloopers of the sex scenes (falling out, falling off the bed, doing the wrong thing, etc) and showed the actors and actresses laughing and making jokes behind the scenes. It was genuinely funny.

I had a hard time keeping up with this film - maybe it's my ADD, but it jumped around in time so much that I could barely grasp when things were actually happening.

I'm usually more into amateur porn, so I took a big leap in deciding to try this one out, and I am disappointed. The main male character exhibits a lot of acts of violence towards the women in the film - choking, pouring beer on them, throwing them around the room/onto the bed (maybe it's the poor acting, but it appeared more violent than sexual) and holy wow, talk about the worst blowjobs ever. All the women were gagging and choking on these dicks and not one of them looked to be enjoying herself.

All in all, I did not enjoy the film at all. I did enjoy the special features, and that's what made this DVD worth it to me. I've given it 2/5 stars due to the poor acting, violence, and pure tackiness of it all and the fact that I did not enjoy it. (Nipplesville, FL... I mean, really??)
