Kiss Attack by Independent Adult Cinema - review by Cupcake Girl

I wanted to review this movie because a friend of mine told me about April Flores and had never seen any of her adult films before. When the DVD arrived in the mail I was pretty excited to check it out. I like adult films that feature larger or more alternative looking women instead of your typical cookie cutter tiny girls with big, fake boobs.

The first thing I did was open the enclosed "comic book" and tried to read through it. It was nearly unintelligible. I didn't understand what the plot line was supposed to be at all and I'm an avid comic book reader. I was hoping that the print version of this movie was not a precursor to what was on the DVD.

I was wrong. Okay, so not many people watch porn for the plot and I get that. But I'm one of those girls who likes a little plot in her porn. Well, Kiss Attack has such a poor plot that I ended up fast forwarding through the bits where a character talks about himself or someone else. I guess there's supposed to be good guys and bad guys? I couldn't tell you because none of it made any sense.

There is also an extreme overuse of gels, filters, and other effects put in during post production. I understand that the director was going for an artsy comic book look with all the over exposure and over saturation but it was a little much. The editing was also really choppy and sometimes not even linear. So you're watching Sasha Grey giving a blowjob and the next second the guy in the scene is going down on her, and then it switches back again.

I have to say though that my favorite scenes were with April Flores and the brief scene with Chunky Cholita. I was really happy to see bigger women in this movie, and they are two pretty sexy ladies, too. Watching April Flores was awesome. She got me excited because she's so hot, but there was no chemistry between her and the other ladies she was in the scenes with (Claire Adams and Penny respectfully). That was pretty disappointing for sure.

The other major turn off in this movie is the poor choice in music. There's some strange techno stuff followed by some gangsta rap stuff. It just doesn't make any sense. You should just turn the sound all the way off. You can't hear the moans or anything over the bad music, so do yourself a favor and turn it down.

My opinion is that this movie was pretty terrible. The only thing that saved it for me was seeing April Flores with Penny and also the brief anal scene between Claudia Rossi and Mikey Butders. But even that lacked any energy and passion. I would suggest passing this movie by for something else. Anything else.

I still think this is terrible -- so much so that I gave it to a friend who also agreed. She gave it to another friend who hasn't watched it yet. She's saving it for "Bad Porno Night".
