Have Your Kinky Sex

The Fetish! Game does a decent job of introducing a non-kinky couple into some of the things that some people do for kinky sex. None of it is too extreme, and even those that consider themselves as pretty unkinky people can still enjoy this game.

extremely useful review
Fetish! is a neat game that will allow you and your partner to explore some sexual fetishes out there while still getting to do sensual things with one another. The board game is intended for two players. The game assumes heterosexuality in a couple places, but on the whole, it's pretty good about using "partner" instead of a gender pronoun. The box includes a board, a six-sided dice, two tokens, instructions, and 108 game cards (24 for each fetish plus 12 Euphoria cards).

All of the pieces come in a pretty sturdy cardboard box. The box will be able to withstand items sitting on top of it, and there's a little cardboard tray that helps you keep the pieces and cards in order. It isn't really a "tray" as much as it is a cardboard piece that keeps all your cards on one side of the box. I wish there was a tray to separate out the cards though. The box will easily work for long-term storage for the game.

The game is pretty simple to play. You start at the beginning and roll the dice to move through the board. If you land on one of those dots, you do the fetish that the color of the dot corresponds to. When you land on the giant fetish bubbles, you have to stop and take a card from that fetish to act out. The first one to Euphoria wins. The winnings? The game comes with 12 blank "Euphoria" cards which both players are supposed to write their fantasy on the back before you start playing. The winner gets to take their fantasy and act it out.

The four fetishes are pretty odd fetishes to choose for this game. The food is the Food Fetish, the foot is the Foot Fetish, the binoculars are the Voyeurism Fetish, and the handcuffs are the Domination fetish. Each fetish has 24 cards that give you and your partner actions to act out that correspond to the fetish. Obviously, when it comes to the food fetish, you are going to need some outside supplies to play the game. The other fetishes really don't require anything outside though.

The board is actually a non-traditional game board. Instead of folding out from four folds, it actually just folds in half. This means the game board is actually just half the size of a traditional game board. The board sometimes confuses me. You'll see my confusion a bit when explaining the board in my video. You see, there are four "paths" to follow from each fetish to the next to get to the Euphoria/win place. You and your partner are supposed to each pick a path and follow that path to the end of the game. The interesting aspect of this is that, out of the four "paths", they didn't choose to include all four fetishes on any of the paths. Two of the paths have two fetishes and the other two paths have the other two fetishes. So if you want to play with all four fetishes, you have to random "jump paths" in the middle of things. You will actually play with all four fetishes throughout the game because, every time you come up to one of those giant bubbles with the fetish in them, you're supposed to stop and do that activity, but aside from those short times with the fetish, you won't play with two of the fetishes.

This game could be problematic if you have an issue with one of the fetishes. I'd imagine most people would have the issue with the Foot Fetish. I know some friends who can't stand to touch or see feet. In that case, you could substitute another fetish for the hated fetish or have the hated fetish be a "wildcard".

The cards, while not amazing quality, do hold up just fine to multiple playings. They are regular-playing-card sized. The Euphoria cards are easy to write on with a pen. The words are written in plain font on the back of each card and are usually just a sentence in length.

The food fetish cards include a lot of feeding of food to one another. The foot fetish cards include quite a few foot rubs. The voyeurism cards include quite a bit of roleplaying where one partner is a maid/showgirl/secretary/etc. The domination cards include lots of spanking and begging. The cards are okay, but I can't say I'm impressed with any of them. A lot of the ideas are bordering on a bit boring, but they do explore fetishes pretty nicely. For someone who has never had a kinky thought before, they'd be really exciting, but if you do anything "kinky" on a regular basis, you may not be very impressed.
Experience
Card Examples:
Food: Squeeze fresh fruit onto your partner's chest and genitals then lick it off. ; Suck on an ice cube and pass it back and forth between your and your lover's mouth. ; Fingerpaint your partner's chest with your favorite body topping. Then lick it off.
Foot: Sensuously suck on one of your partner's big toes. ; Take off your lover's socks using only your teeth. ; Explore your partner's body as erotically as you can with your toes.
Voyeurism: Perform a sexy and suggestive dance for your partner. ; Allow your partner to touch himself while you perform a lap dance. ; Take a shower and allow your partner to watch.
Domination: Get on all fours so your partner can spank your bare butt. ; Get on all fours and bark like a sexy dog until Master tells you to stop. (Ruff...ruff?); Blindfold your lover and instruct her in how you would like to be touched.

Fetish! is a good dabble into fetishes if you've never tried anything kinky before. I wouldn't call it amazing, but it does do a good job of immersing you into some kinky sexual things that might open the door for more. The board game met, but didn't exceed, my expectations.
Follow-up commentary
We don't really play this game anymore. Out of all of the board games we own, this is probably one of my least favorite as it just doesn't have the same variety and options that some of our other games have. It's okay as a starting point, but other board games will probably suit your needs better.

Oh my, this sounds...disappointing. My favorite card was the one that said bark like a sexy dog. I got the most hilarious image in my head from that. I agree with your sentiments about it being for those who have never been kinky before. It might also be good for those who are too shy to ask for things. There's a lot less control involved in letting the cards suggest what to do.
