Honestly, I used it primarily as an "insert and leave it alone" toy. And it brought me to orgasm like you wouldn't believe. I didn't have to shift it or touch it. Of course, if you are going to be using it frequently from the bedside table, the plastic bag might be unnecessary. It largely comes down to personal preference and living arrangements as to how you will keep it safe and hidden.
